Hi, First check that you have wash liquid in tank. second make sure that it will not freeze by putting alcohol in your mix of water and soap. You can buy it already mixed at most service stations. Check pump for corosion on contacts. Good luck.
Sure sounds like your problem is the power door lock control unit. Best thing to do is get a replacement unit(new or used) and install it, unless you can open and fix the defective unit yourself.
i Just fixed a problem with a renault megan washer motor. If the motor makes a noise but is not pumping any water & the jets@ the windscreen are clear, then pull the suqirter motor out off the washer bottle( the bottle stays in place ) it just pulls out from underneith the bottom stone tray& may need to remove bottom bolt, inner lower wheeel arch. Right Now where the black & white squirter come out of the motor gentlywith a screw driver pop these off together. ( test motor again) ( put in water ) Then with Snap ring plires & part the white & black outlets apart & you will find a rubber seal that looks like it must of grown. When it grows it blocks both ports off. you need to shorten the rubber & keep it flat as remember its job seems to block off either the front or rear port. if it not a good finish you may get water coming out of the front & the rear ifeg your working the front squirters
The reservoir is the same one for the front washers. There are two electric pumps on the base of the reservoir (one for front and one for rear). You probably need a new pump. It is accessible behind the panel in front of the front right wheel.
You will need a test light/probe to check wether you have power to the windscreen washer bottle motor. If you have power at the motor and it doesnt pump you will need to replace it.Because the wipers are still working its unlikely to be a power supply issue. Can you hear the motor trying to pump when you activate it?If you can hear motor humming then you may have blocked nozzles.Usualy a small sewing needle poked down the squirter nozzles will clear them. Also make sure your water squirter hoses are not blocked and havnt fallen off.
check the switch on the steering usualy it becomes faulty after a while and also your window washers could be blocked but try turning it on if you do not hear a buzzing sound the motors needs to be replaced.
