Hi, The 2007 Hyundai Accent is under a recall for the brake light switch since it has a tendency to fail. The brake light switch is high up on the brake pedal and it has a plunger on it. The plunger releases when you step on the brake pedal and retracts when you release the pedal. if its a single cam the marks should be on the backing plate and if it is twin cam the two marks should face each other on the compression stroke of the number 1 cylinder and the same goes for single cams line the mark up with the backing plate in the compression stroke of number 1 cylinder.
