1991 Toyota Camry front end whining when I rev or turn

Just started - cold weather, turned the car on, heard a loud whine that is coupled to the accelerator - when I rev it, it gets higher pitched. It's tougher to hear when the car is warmed up and I'm driving, but it's still there. The most interesting part is that it gets LOUDER when I turn hard in either direction.

1995. Why does it make a loud whining on start up?

Whining would be the pump or low fluid. Squealing would be a loose belt.

The engine will have to be removed and inspected, to find out what has happened. Big expense, may need replacement engine.

1999 ford explorer limited whining noise in front end

Whining noise is probably in one of the pulleys or belts. Probably the power steering. And the popping is probably CV axles.

I have a 2002 chrysler voyager i hear a whinning from power steering when temperture is cold

please check your steering fluid level. or check its condition. when steering pumps start to get older whining noise can be heard in time. (especially in cold weather, it cause fluid gets thicker)this is due to wearing internal elements it is getting harder to pump fluid or hold pressure at a level.

learn to live with it until it fails(until it start to leak) and try not to turn your steering wheel to right end of its rotations.

There is a loud "whining"

Power steering pumps whine when they are low on fluid, or if they are goin bad. Serpentine belts also whine in cold weather or when they are goin bad. Tru spraying just a little WD40 on the belts when its running, if it goes away, you should be thinking about a new belt. If nothing changes, check the power steering fluid, if its full, take to a mechanic

sounds like possibly the starter is working but the gear it meshs with (Flywheel) may have missing teeth in it, explaining the whining noise you are hearing from the starter not making gear contact. When you left home all was well but when you went to leave work the flywheel is in a different position and is causing no contact to start the engine. Hope this helps
