Depends on the year, but, most commonly under the vehicle and a little forward of the drvr seat.
Your questions specifies 325i but the question is listed in the 5 Series section so I'll answer for the 325i. The Bentley Manual for the 1994 BMW 325i states that "on early 4-cylinder cars the fuel filter is mounted under the car on the left front bulkhead. On early 6-cylinder cars the fuel filter is mounted to the front left motor mount in the engine compartment. On later cars, the fuel filter is located beneath the center of the car, approximately under the driver's seat. A protective cover is installed over the fuel filter, which must be removed to access the filter."

the relay is under the bonet and i think its brown , but befor you do that lift the rear seat and get some one to turn the ignition on as you listen to see if you can hear it prim as the relay does two jobs , prime and fead if it does nither you may need a pump . email me if you need more help
