Turn the key on and listen for the fuel pump to prime. It should hum for about 3 sec. If you cant hear it hum then have it checked out by a machanic. May need replacing. Fuel pumps are not designed to run empty. Listen for any unusual sounds.

Evap port service

You'll need a repair book or shop manual to get the procedures.
Code 336 is for a problem with the crank sensor circuit, and 442 is for a small leak in the evap system. The leak could be the gas cap or a hose or valve between the gas tank and the vapor canister.

You have to replace the ignition system, all the 99's came with an anti theft unit built in. The ignition is built into the system, so that could be the reason why.

Dimming headlights,blinking headlights

Your alternator may be going bad. Test your battery while it is running with a voltmeter. It should be above 13.0 volts. I would check that first.

CLEANING THE MAF SENSOR ON MY '99 INTRIGUE

You don't clean them, you get a new one. Usually if it's the MAF, it'll start and die, start and die. If your's is stalling, it'll be the idle air control valve, or the fuel filter, or the idle control system, or a vacuum leak at the intake or vacuum hoses. Good luck.
