Brake warning light came on on my 2005 chrysler town and country Van

that is the tire pressure monitoring system warning light, letting you know that one or more of your tire pressures is lower than spec. Some people have the light come on after service to wheels/tires. Damage to TPMS sensors is common when removing tires from wheels.

If the warning light is on, you could be low on brake fluid or the parking brake could be on.

check fuses but first refer to owners manual to see proper disconnection of battery neg. first -- obtain acess to brake lights and use dvom ''digital volt ohm meter '' to test continuity to brake lights

Check fuses, wires and bulbs, finally check brake switch, generally is located backside brake peddal.

its sounds like it could be a bad master cylinder with an internal leak.it could also be a problem with the abs hydraulic module that for some reason is bypassing brake fluid within the unit itself.these problems won`t neccessarily turn on the dash light or activate the abs light.

check the brake fluid level

that sholud be a brake light due to a parking brake engaged or not fully released it can also com on if there is a abs malfuntion or brake fluid is low. You need to get your brakes checked. If fluid is not low brakes are good and parking brake is not on you may need a brake switch.

its the positive wire that goes to the fuse box from the battery. its crimped into the main positive wire. it needs a better connection.
