How do i get to the fuel pump in a nissan pulsar vector? i turn the car over and the fuel is pooring out somewhere above the fuel tank....thnkz

Hi there,

The fuel pump is mounted "inside" the fuel tank. You'll need to remove the rear seat (bottom portion) to gain access to the pump assembly.

If fuel is pouring out, then there is an obvious leak from either the hoses (attached to the fuel pump) or from the pump seal in the tank.

I have a 1990 n13 pulsar , where is the fuel pump relay

Some Nissans put that relay and 3 others above or on the fuse panel under the dash. Far left one was the Accessory relay, then the Ignition relay, next was the ECCS relay (the ecu relay), and last on the right was the fuel pump relay, if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure everyone was exact same relay, same part number. I also believe the fuel pump fuse was in that fuse panel.

pull the sump off, the oil pick up, good chance you'll have to strip the timing covers off. have a look for some bolts to remove the pump the pick up ws bolted to. good luck

If it is trying to fire up, then it is a fuel problem, not spark. Chk to make sure you are getting fuel
