Where is starter relay located?

I don't think there was a relay in 1988. Starter wire (small diameter wire) goes directly to the ignition switch.

Nissan pulsar 1988 excessive oil consumption only when warmed up (1 paint for 50 miles)

That is excessive, either you have a massive leak somewhere or you are burning it. Sounds like a head gasket to me, regardless as to how many times it was done. This is not an easy thing to replace or seat properly. also, each bolt must be set to a specific torque, if not, then the head will not sit evenly and oil will leak for sure. If you are inexperienced, this should be done by a professional.

How do I get my antenna off on a 1988 Nissan pulsar?

I can't find information on your model but generally a car aerial doesn't represent many problems unless it is a roof aerial sited in the centre front or rear of the roof. In this case it is usually necessary to access the underside of the aerial. If the aerial is at the corner of the roof, retracting into a windscreen pillar, the manual versions sometimes withdraw upwards after releasing a single screw but sometimes they must be withdrawn downwards, especially if it is an electrically operated version. In this case access is usually restricted and there is limited room to withdraw the unit. Replacing this type of aerial is usually a struggle from start to finish entailing the removal of under-dash units, carpet, insulation and so forth. Good luck!

Head gasket repair on a holden astra 88 model how

Torquing the heads is usually done in a particular pattern and usually in 3 stages most of the time 1/3 of the torque value at each stage. You should consult the service manual for the procedure and numbers. Your local library has access to online service manuals for most cars, but you can only access them at your local branch.

Nissan pulsar 1988 wont go into gear I can put the gear stick in the right gear but does nothing wont reverse or drive, its automatic and has a reconditioned engine in it

try checking your transmission oil (i had the same problem but after $30 it was fixed) it might had drained out. if your transmission oil is fine then consult a mechanic preferebly an automatic transmission specialist. may be your transmission needs a rebuild.

2000 Nissan Pulsar N16

you have to keep in mind that the starter is exposed to extreme heat and after that many miles it's natural for the parts to fail. considering that the vehicle has 200,000km this is not a sign of poor design of parts but just a typical symptom of longevity. just get it replaced as well as the battery and you should be fine.......please rate this
