Time to find a good replacement radio that suits your needs. you can usually find places that will install for free if you buy from them. also purchase the adapter kits so they dont cut into the vehicles wiring harness.

Car electrical problems

I have this same old 95 Accord, four cylinders. It started with two of the spark plugs were going back, causing the radio to cutoff suddenly. The engine stops once awhile and bad mileage. Battery did not last long. I have to disconnect the radio antenna, as there was a short. Do not know if these can help. Good luck.

I just purchased a used 2006 Honda accord. The radio/clock does not come on. The dealer had someone to disconnect the battery and then reconnect it. After that, the radio came on. We turned the car off...

Not familiar with your vehicles systems, but it sounds
like a retained accessory relay, and the dealer surely
knows what it is.
You don't keep disconnecting the battery to diagnose that.
Go to a competant repair shop close to home

Is there any other way to get the code to my radio other than remove the radio?

I found this in a forum and several people said it worked...give it a try.

"I bought an 04 Odyssey EX as a cerified pre-owned a few days back. It has an anti theft radio. The dealership, in its infinite wisdom, put in a new battery but did not back up enough power to keep the code in the radio and then could not find the code! Despite their promises to the contrary they did not call to report my fix. So I called the service department instead. Good move.
It turns out first that the 5 digit code is on a sticker found on the side of the glove compartment. Usually on the outside left when you open it up. There are two numbers there - you want the five digit one.
Now here's the key - the salesman no doubt has tried a bunch of random numbers or ones he is getting from the wrong source. Once ten attempts are made without the correct code being entered the system locks itself up and will not accept any code. This is to keep someone crazy enough to keep trying random numbers, such as a salesman or a thief (I'll be good...) from eventually finding the right sequence.
There are two ways of releasing the block. The first is to run the radio for an hour. No sound will come out but once it has been on for an hour it will unlock itself and you can put in the code. If you are like me the idea of running around for an hour with music is a non-starter so I went with the quicker solution - disconnect the negative battery cable for about a minute and then reconnect. You now can enter the code and all will be well. Well, except for the fact that now you have to reset your clock as well but if you will go through that much to get the radio back setting the clock is probably withing your area of expertise."

Radio not working

You'll need to get the serial number (remove the radio it will be somewhere on the back) all your local Honda dealer and ask for service, they should be able to look up the code for you.

Navigation, radio, and clock not coming on?

Why did you replace the lighter fuse in the first place - something may have shorted something out? when you put in the new fuse does it blow right away? make sure the fuse is the correct amp for that spot. also check all the fuses - sometimes there can be more than one fuse that controls many items such as radio, nav, and lights.to answer your questions though no it cant really be anything else than a short blowing a fuse. you just have to find which fuse it is and where the short could be.

I had to jump my car and now my radio and clock wont work.

Get a boyfriend stop jumping the car...JUST KIDDING. You must have a reset button, it's not very big , you can push the reset with a pin, it's a small cercle on the right hand side of your radio. Try that and let me know
