Remove 2 10mm bolts attaching top of headlight to the radiator support.

remove plastic clip attachinig headlight to top/front of fender.

remove 5 phillips screws on top of grill.

carefully pull out grill enough to remove 1 10mm bolt attaching headlight to radiator support and use slotted screwdriver or prybar to seperate headlight tab from the bracket that goes under the bumper cover.

with a little effort and wiggling pull out headlight assembly.

There is actually a trap door up under the wheel well that allows direct access.

Wow Nathan, that would be great, can you give me any tips? I'm not automotively inclined

Yeah, I know about the trap door. But unless you have the car up on a lift, it is very awkward to access the bulb that way with the car on the ground. The job I was doing was installing an HID kit. (Not the fake-me-out "HID" bulbs, an actual HID kit with bulbs and balasts) and they won't install through the trap door. You have to remove the headlight assembly as I described.

YOU ARE WRONG!!!! I changed my halogen to HID FULL KIT and I did it ALL thru the trap doors!!!! All you have to do is turn your wheels all the way to "left turn" to do the passenger side and turn wheels all the way "right turn" to do driver side. It's only a LITTLE awkward but you only need patience and DONT use gloves so you can FEEL where and how the lights go in. And, YES the ballast fits in there too, if you have the "slim" style. It's even easier to just jack up your car, use jack stands, remove tire, then It's SUPER EASY....Don't be so lazy!!!

buy a rebuilt axle and pay about 170.00 for the part. have it installed for 50.00 labor. unless you are pretty mechanical the remove the wheel involved and the brake assy . leave the hose on the caliper and let it hang. then remove the center nut on the axle protruding thru the hub . disconnect lower ball joint and remove the old axle.

My driver's side headlight is out on my 06 lincoln zephyr I bought a new HID light and had it installed but it still wont work. I think it may just be the fuse. But how do I get to the fuse box to...

if one side works, its not going to be a fuse, whoever installed it needs to recheck it if that is possible,, On those bulbs its very important not to touch the actual bulb, as the oil in the body will cause them to over heat and burn out faster . If you can't have the installer check the bulb again,, remove the retaining ring that holds them in place,, remove the bulb , and check it with a meter , check any wiring that leads to the socket to be sure its plugged in completely

Heated and cooled seats quit working. won't work on either driver's or passanger's seats. checked the fuses and relays and they are all ok. what's wrong?

Remove fuses 10 and 11 in the underhood junction box. Leave out for 5 minutes then reinstall. If the seats start working your Zephyrs dual climate control seat module will need replaced.
