The 'Maintenance Required' light flashes on my

The 'Maintenance Required' light on my 2001 Acura MDX flashes on my dash for about 5 seconds after starting the vehicle and then turns off. Do you know what causes this and/or what should I do about it?

This is just your maintence minder. the reset procedure should be in your owners manual. the vehicle calculates when its due for an oil change and turns the light on but it should be reset every oil change if its on or not. you can can your local acura/honda dealer and they can explain how to reset

I need radio code for my acura mdx 2001 radio when i removed the baterry terminal for cleaning.
You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

Key off, hold select and reset button, then turn key on, but don't start engine, wait approximately 15 seconds until maintenance required light stops flashing. Turn key back off. Turn on again without starting if reset is successful maintenance light will only appear once.
