You can go to autozone.com and then register for full free online repair manual for your buick. They have all the diagams you could need. Do you have the drum or disc brake in your century? They made them with both.

Hi, I have a 96 buick century,if i dont use it battery goes dead

The radio in my 1996 Buick century had a clock light that did not go off when the car was shut off, so the battery would go dead after 2 days. Disconnected the radio and all was well. Getting ready for a new radio now.

1996 Buick century ck engine light 134---02 sensor--- it was connected 1441--- inactive bank ....??? What is the problem with these codes? My buick is running fine.

The problem may be the scanner--check with a different one. If the car is running well, why are you checking? An O2 sensor can be bad even though it is connected. They wear out just like spark plugs. It's not likely that you wouldn't notice that one half of your engine was dead!

96 Buick Century can't pass imisions code P1441

P1441, EVAP Emissions System Flow During Non-Purge.
you seem to have an evap problem these problems are hard to diagnose sometimes it can only be the gas cap or maybe rust around the seat of the gaz cap
get the code erase and see if it comes back on and if it does check gas cap and arroung the filling neck if there is rust if no visible rust apears you will have to get it check with smoke to see where it leaks

hope it will help you

Have a great day
