How do you control the dashboard lights in a 2006 cadillac cts? I just bought the car; the owners manual was misplaced; I can't make the dash lights brighter or even find the controls.

The dimmer for my dash lights on my 05 Cadillac CTS is just below the sunroof control. It also turns on the interior lights. I drove this car over a year before I figured it out which was by accident!

you can get the dash panel recovered, not sure of the cost but

your fuse panel will tell you the location of your brake lights. Haynes manual has much info than the owners manual rob1911.a1

page 3-19 in the owners manual says its a slider located on the overhead console.

There is a company called PAC that specializes in modules like you describe - keeping the steering wheel controls functional with an aftermarket radio.

Click HERE to visit their site. You have to choose a compatible manufacturer. Basically - it is turning the steering wheel controls into a "remote" hidden in the dash.

For best results and compatibility, look for a shop in your area that carries PAC - it is a common manufacturer in the BIZ, and have them install it.

The simple answer to your question is YES as long as you use the module compatible for the brand of radio you are installing.

The dealers know about a problem with the batteries and will replace under warranty. The original batteries were defective. I just bought a 2006 CTS and after test driving the car the battery died and wouldnt restart. The dealer replaced the battery. You should not have to pay a dime.
