You need the code. The code is specific to your radio, and no one can tell you that specific code. Do not try any codes until you have the correct one or you will lock the radio. Look long and hard throughout your owner's manual and all other manuals you have with the car. If you cannot find the code then contact the dealer that sold the car originally. They may have the code stored in their database. You can also go to any Lexus dealership and they can tell you the code with the VIN # off the car. Other than that I know of no way to get the code unless you remove the radio and write down the serial #. With that number many sites will sell you the code. But you are better off to pay a Lexus dealer to give you the code, and they just might do it for free if you ask nicely.
These codes are often specific to the particular vehicle and the radio. If you contact your local Lexus dealership and give them your vin, they should be able to provide you with the code for your radio for no charge. Additionally, if you have all of the original owner's literature the code should be on a business card sized card somewhere in the folder.
The code is a series of numbers (usually 4) that you enter by pressing the six preset buttons. You can find the code , on some cars, in the owner's manual (one of the first or last pages) or on some cars, o a sticker in the glove box.
I don't think they are all the same for your year/model. If it's not written in your owner's manual, you will probably have to take it to the dealer so they can look it up using your VIN. If you're lucky they won't charge you but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Good luck.
