Get a fill kit with a pressure gauge on it from an auto parts store. The ones with a red, yellow,green indicator are the easiest to use. Follow the instructions on the label. You will be measuring pressure from the low pressure side, that's the one with the thicker aluminum pipe coming out of the compressor. There will be a service port with a plastic cap on it. That's where you connect the refill kit. Follow the instructions & get the pressure into the middle area on the gauge while the a/c is on max & the engine running.

Try checking the fuse block for a bad fuse should be under dash check your manual for the actual location of the fuse. If that doesn't seem to be the problem check and make sure the lights are turned on via the dimmer switch. Sounds to simple but a lot of times the switch gets turned off by accident.
