Chrysler has a separate large fuse in the fuse box under the hood in the fuse box, there should be 5 or more large fuses (yellow, green or blue in color) If you look under the fuse box cover you will see which fuse is for the alternator. Sometimes these fuses will burn out while jumping a car (possible incorrect battery contact with jumpers, fuse protects vehicle electrical system) also a shorted battery will not produce power for vehicle , auto parts store will check battery for free,

SOURCE: radio not working
i ended up getting a new radio dealer told me jump starting fried radio said it was manufacture flaw
SOURCE: jumped dead battery; radio won't work
Sounds like they connected the cables backwards, there maybe a direct fuse on the back of the stereo that got burnt up.If there's not a fuse on the stereo than its probably damaged beyond repair.
SOURCE: radio/dvd/cd not working since battery died
alot of newer cars have an anti theft system for the radio and when you lose power you have to enter a code into the radio so you may have to call the dealership to get it
SOURCE: 2000 Jetta Radio is dead after a dead battery jump start
Some German cars have anti-theft device inside to make it useless to steal...check at the dealership to see if jumping the battery will activate this(the car thinks its being stolen) .
SOURCE: Jumped started Audi 2001 TT, due to dead battery, now radio dead
You will need to enter the anti theft radio lock code. I would check the manual for the operation. On my VW it was on a sticker in the truck. Also check with an Audi dealer for exact location.
