2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK 350. Sometimes runs to

2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK 350. Sometimes runs to 5-6000 rpm and just hangs there. Have to stop and turn car off to solve problem. Sometimes it just won't accelerate when pressing gas pedal all the way down-once again stop-turn off and the the problem is gone. Any Ideas

Check the pole/cord going to your gas pedel..u may have to take up the carpet.. but it could be a bearing in the pedel..

i'd get the OBD codes read as there are many reasons for this , The obd will narrow down the sensor/switch (s) at fault

The screen on the dash says close trunk partition but it is closed is it a sensor?

hi its probably the switch on the boot thats not working or wire come off the switch remove this to see if the wire is conected some times they seize up and stop working but replace if in doubt

your crank and no start issue is likely caused by a failing crankshaft position sensor. they usually fail when at high temps like driving and when engine cools off they are OK again, it will fail while driving as it gets worse.

On all fuel injected vehicles I have ever seen it is located on top and inside the fuel tank. Yours should be in the same place.

2004 clk 500 unsteady idle rpm, could it be the

RUN down to Advance Auto Parts and buy a can of "SeaFoam" and add to your gas tank per instructions...drive for at least 100 miles and the problem should be gone. If not, one or more of your O2 sensors are most-likely fouled (lousy fuel quality these days).

behind a shield on the drivers side i think take out the filter after the drain plug and more will come out fill to owners manual spec
