fuel filter is located on the drivers side behind the rear quarter panel .

SOURCE: 2000 Cirrus fuel filter location

It is located at the back of the fuel tank.It is as large as half a beer can.

SOURCE: location of fuel filter 2000 prerunner 2.7 engine

In the engine bay, on the firewall, behind the engine if it's a 2.7L I4. It'll be tricky to change due to space constraints.

Where in the world is the fuel filter located on my 2005 Malibu Classic?
The fuel filter is located in the fuel tank and is only serviced when the fuel pump is replaced, don't know why GM did this but never the less that is the fact of the matter.

yes it is, the best way is to jack up rear of car, and support it with jack stands, or a car ramp. then you can remove fuel filter safely.

On the Malibu's with either the 2.2L or 3.5L engine the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump module inside of the tank and is, in theory, a "lifetime" fuel filter. If the filter should ever clog the pump module has to be replaced.

How to change fuel filter on 2000 chevy malibu
the fuel filter is located just in front of fuel tank. relieve fuel pressure, you can do this by removing fuel pump fuse and running engine until it quits, or you can relieve pressure by shraider valve in engine compartment. squeeze the white plastic disconnect tabs together and pull the inlet line away from filter, then detach the outlet line from the filter, then unbolt the filter mounting bracket to remove fuel filter.

Fuel filter 2003 malibu
The fuel filter is located on the fuel feed pipe, between the fuel pump and the fuel injectors. It will be a Metallic tube like item about 4 inches long inline with your fuel supply (feed) line. If you can lift vehicle or get underneath it, then find your gas tank, find the line coming from top of your gas tank and trace it out. Filter is uaully within a few feet of the gas tank.
