My 1989 Chevy Corvette,( 350 automatic ) the

My 1989 Chevy Corvette,( 350 automatic ) interior cabin has recently become extremely hot inside , as if the heat is on full blast even when it turned off . It gets so hot it will actually burn your feet ....

its feels like the heater is stuck in the on position even though the switch is off ? It makes it impossible to drive for more then 10 min
.
I also wanted to ask what can be done to give the car a ''softer'' ride ? It is extremely ridgid .... .

More than likely the heater valve is stuck open. You can usually purchase them from the local parts house. As far as the ride most of these cars ride this way. You can update the suspension with newer designs and shocks to allow a softer ride and can even get suspension that is adjustable allowing you to set the ride and performance yourself to your liking. Air suspension is probably also available to allow maximum soft ride.

I smell gas in the cabin of my 2008 chevy impala, it has 70,000 miles ... the smell wont go away any answers??

smell gas in the cabin Kenny, Fuel line is probably leaking, would have checked immediately by a qualified tech. This could be extremely dangerous if fuel is spraying/leaking on hot surface such as exhaust.

My 350 chevy engine '90 hesitates when i press accelarater in the drive position. In park or neutral theres no hint of a throttling problem. Is there any corralation with the missing and the transmission...

it sounds like the torque convertor has a siezed stator or a problem inside the gearbox unless you have a engine ignition problem then it will give that problem when under load if its a gas engine check the plugs leads etc

My 206 1999 diesel which i have had from new has recently started with same electrical problem radio going off but still a light and all dials zeroing then returning back to normal paul from oldham

In my opinion there is a lose contact anywhere from battery to cabin fuse box. Check all the connections of Cabin fuse box, which is responsible for the supply of display and interior lights. Radio goes off but a main live wire always active for radio to retain the radio code, thats why there is a light although all other things go off.

Rough idle

The cam or crank sensor is going out when driving at high speeds. I would have those parts check, and have the fuel pressure check , fuel filter change to be on the safe side.

Good luck

There is a series of two videos addressing a very similar problem with a 1989 Corvette, first one diagnosis, second one fix. Seems like this is a not unusual problem for these older Corvettes. Check out the links.
