SOURCE: OBD codes P0700, P0732, P0733,

P0700....Transmission Control System (MIL Request)

P0732....Gear 2 Incorrect Ratio

P0733....Gear 3 Incorrect Ratio

P0841....Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch 'A' Circuit Range/Performance

P0871....Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch "C" Circuit Range/Performance

well it would appear so as the fluid pressure sensor switch is controling the gear change as as you have two faulty switches its affecting two gears .now you are also showing a code for not connecting the information to the computer ,so i would check the connection plug on the gearbox in case some of the connections are corroded or burnt inside the connection plug before you go any further ,if they all appear to be ok and have a continuety circuit with a meter then i would be inclined to ask a specialist autogearbox garage for a opinion .Autoboxs are not something we have that many of in europe because they are called granny wagons here and are not popular because when they go wrong it means throwing the car away

SOURCE: Transmission not shifting right. Winds up then

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. The codes are probably thrown for the transmission. You need to find out exactly where it is leaking. I know you have did this already, but you should try it with the car running. Run it a few miles and park it. Keep it running and check it out. Until you know the exact location, there isn't much we can do. Make sure you check the entire transmission housing for cracks or damage. Let me know when you find the leak. Since it is leaking, make sure you keep fluid in it. If you have drove with little or no fluid, you may have transmission issues. Let me know if it has been hard switching gears. Is it automatic or standard?

Loss of power, transmission issues

code p0700 refers to transmission control system/MIL --malfunction===causes --wiring ---TCM (1)
code po740 refers to torque converter clutch (TCC) solenoid--circuit malfunction===causes--wiring--TCC solenoid--ECM/TCM (transmission control module) (again)
code p0871 refers to transmission fluid pressure (TFP) sensor C -range/ performance problem==causes---wiring--poor connection--TFP sensor--ECM /TCM (yet again)
code p0734 refers to gear 3 ratio (po374 is gear ratio 4) incorrect ratio===causes --wiring--TR sensor/switch--shift solenoids--transmission mechanical fault (causes are the same for po733&734)
code po846 refers to transmission fluid pressure (TFP) sensor B-range/ performance problem===causes ---wiring--poor connection--TFP sensor--ECM/TCM (again). Give the clutch a miss as you still have 1st gear and if the clutch is not working you will not be going any where. Have a pressure test done on the transmission to check for internal mechanical failures (pump ). The rest are sensors are wiring connections , sensor and TCM. My bet is the TCM unit. Have it checked out. What ever you do treat any suggestion of a new transmission with a grain of salt until you are shown proof positive that you need one.

You are getting all of these codes, because the pcm is seeing readings that do not fall within it's permitted ranges. It sounds like a good time to consult a pro!
