SOURCE: ESP / ARS fault with Peugeot 207

Nobody can give that...at best, a Guesstimate...but they will need to do some testing, Diagnosis...they charge by the hour, are good at what they do, and if they are real good, will be ASE Certified Mechanics...ask around, for good references...I don't know where you live, but in North Portland, (Oregon), there is a small shop on Interstate Ave., that works on them...good luck...

SOURCE: no compression on peugeot 207 1.6

Mark the position on your distributor first Loose by 1or2 turns distributor unit bolts 2 or 3 of the mount of distributor and rotate left or right . Let somebody start the engine for 5 min and than rotate distributor half millimetre and you rev the engine and you feel quick rev up .For low compression is better to give compression test .

SOURCE: how to set the head torque settings for a peugeot 207 gt 1.6 2010

Forget the manual stuff as they dont do it that way on the assembly line ,what you do is to start in the middle then work alternativly either side outwards.Using a rachet then repeat the procedure with the torque wrench petrol setting is around 60 lbs for this engine with alloy head never mind the new bolts just make sure the bolts holes are clean with no oil or water in them and the bolts are left in a bucket with some diesel for a while ,when i strip anything i always throw all the nuts and bolts into a small bucket with a drop of diesel in it to clean them up and lubricate them before refitting ,wire brush the threads on the head bolts if carboned up or rusty .Also check and change any of the plastic housing for the water pipes as they do split or deform with time causing no end of problems and make sure the thermostat has a small 3/4 mm hole drilled in the flange around the side of the stat to allow easy self bleeding their is a bleed screw as well on the heater hose at the back of the engine but these modern stats dont have the old fashioned bleed hole in them which can cause problems to a lesser weekend mechanic

I have a Peugeot 207cc 2008 convertible model with a faulty fuel gauge, I can't find anywhere else that tells me where the fuel sensor is located and how I get to it. Please can you help

SPECULATION only... because Peugeots were not
commercially imported to the USA in 2008... BUT

TYPICALLY you must empty & drop the
"GAS TANK" to access the sender unit
(fuel - pump)...

It is a big enough job where it is certainly reasonable
to lift your rear mats to LOOK & see if access is available
(through the car floor) with the FUEL TANK in place...

http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/sender-unit-fuel-tank/peugeot-207-wa-wc-1-6-hdi-90hp_v19352_g605.html

I did check a Peugeot FORUM and an UNANSWERED
question remains...

Does any one know how to remove the BIG NUT that
holds the fuel sender in place??
207 fuel sender removal Peugeot 307 forum Peugeot Central

My guess = BIG WRENCH (spanner)...
Sadly I have found no AMERICAN companies
that list significant PEUGEOT parts or tools from
1991 to 2009
...

Hope this helps.

My suggestion would be to check the gage FIRST.

How to find powe steerig reservor peugeot 27

There isn't one, its electric power steering on that model . If the steering has got heavy check the appropriate fuse to make sure that hasn't blown, they should be listed in your handbook. If it has, replace it but keep an eye on it as fuses don't normally blow for nothing. If it hasn't blown then the motor has probably burnt out but that normally blows the fuse.
