If the mine winch drum diameter is 6m, calculate how far the cage will drop for each single rotation of the drum

The rough answer uses the formula for the circumference of the drum: c = diameter at the cable layer. x pi
If the cable layer is at the drum diameter of 6m,
C = 6m x pi
C = about 18.8 m
If the cable is on a different layer with a different diameter, the answer will be different.

Best way to remove rear brake drums on an 06 equinox

Hello, there is two ways to remove the drums. First way is to use a hammer and tap the back side of the drum as you rotate it untill it becomes free. Second way is to use a brake spool to back the shoes off, on the back side of the drum is a small opening it may be covered by a piece of rubber. Just pop that out, using the brake spool rotate the star wheel key till the shoes are backed off the drum than it should come right off.
