SOURCE: 2003 toyota sequoia rear door latch broken

First, take off the license plate2_bing.gif.
Since the hatch wouldn't open, I started from the inside and took down the top trim piece. After that the two side pieces come down, then the main trim piece which covers the bulk of the door comes out. These are all popped in with the white tabs.
There are 3 access hole covers to pop out (don't forget to install them back in when done) and through the left hole you can see the mechanism to unlatch, press it down with a screwdriver and open the door. If anytime you close the door you will have to do this to unlatch, up until you disconnect the cable and pull out the handle, then you have to locate the cable and pull that directly.
Behind the large trim piece you will find a metal access cover, remove the 7 or 8 10mm bolts holding that on and pop the 3 white tabs and let it hang off to the side. Disconnect the cable from the handle assembly by reaching in from the right hand side and popping of the cable from the handle assembly.
From the left and right access holes, locate the two 10mm nuts which hold the license plate assembly to the door and remove them. Then there are 4 plastic tabs that come in from the outside that hold the license plate assembly on in each corner, try and locate those and using some pliers squeeze them together and push it through. Next locate the license plate lamps wire connector and release that from the left side, it’s the simple push in and pull out square white connector.
After these are out, put back in 1 or 2 bolts into the large metal access cover so the hatch can be lowered (don’t close it).
Here is where I had fun, begin to pop out the assembly that it was bolted to. I ended up breaking 3 of the 4 plastic tabs in each corner because I did not use pliers from the other side to pull them out, however it remained somewhat useable (hindsight 20/20).
Now the license plate assembly can be taken to a bench to replace the handle assembly (Toyota doesn't sell just the handle, it is a small assembly). Two screws out and the assembly is replaced.
Before pressing the license plate assembly back onto the truck, make certain all the plastic tabs are in the assembly and not in the truck. Reverse the process to re-install.

SOURCE: 2005 Toyota Sequoia - Rear hatch door lock is

Welcome to Fixya

Remove the vinyl pull-strap that is located on the rear panel, use a #2 philips to do this. Now start to remove the large inside door panel. This panel has the rear glass inside rubber anti-rattle blade attached to the top of it. (If you were able to open the hatch door from the outside you can remove the inside panel by starting at the bottom of the panel and using a thin blade to lift the panel away from the door and then pop the plastic barbs loose, then lift it up and off of the door sheet-metal.) Starting at one corner, bend out and pull up on the panel where it is hooked over the top of the window opening sheet-metal. It takes a little force to get it started but be persistent, once it is started work towards the other end. Once it's loose at the top you can reach inside and pop loose the plastic barbs that retain the panel and remove it completely.
Thank you for using Fixya!

SOURCE: 2003 Toyota sequoia. Can the dvd system be removed

Most radois since 2000 have security systems built into them. If you swap same make vehicles it will plug in, but my not work. You get a lock code on the radio. It can be unlocked at a dealership. You have a 1 in a 1000 chance it make be OK. I've done it, but it was just lucky it worked.

SOURCE: How do I open toyota sequoia with theft deterrent system when key fob will not work or key does not unlock

That's very odd. Your key in the drivers/passenger/rear hatch use a manual lock. If you really can't get into any of them you can charge your battery from under the truck and roll down the rear window.

2003 toyota abs light Codes C1203, C1223

C1223 - Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Input Signal is 0 C1203 - The procedure for this fault is to check for an open or short in the harness and connector between the Skid control ECU and ECM.If no faults are found with the wiring, then - the MIL stays off when ignition on but engine not running (Requires ECM replacing)
- the MIL comes on when ignition on but engine not running (requires ABS & traction actuator assembly)
These parts wont be cheap so i hope its a wiring fault smile.gif
If you take it to a Toyota dealership they should be able to do this for you pretty easily.

2003 toyota sequoia radio error code 1.will not play cd but am radio works

Error one indicates a bad laser pickup, or a calibration issue. I would recommend a CD cleaner, but, if that does not help, the radio will need to be taken to an authorized service center. The 01 code is rather common to those radios.

Differetial locks for 94 land cruiser

91-97 Land Cruisers had a factory option for front and rear locking differentials. This is a seperate switch and is usually located to the left of US model Land Cruisers. The center dash button locks your transfer case differential changing your Land Cruiser from all wheel drive to four wheel drive depending if you have ABS or not this button either says ECT or Center Dif Lock. If you do not have the Front/Rear locking differential option then your Land Cruiser has open Front and Rear. Hope this answers your question.
