HAVE SOMEONE EXTRACT THE CODE FROM THE CAR'S COMPUTER. IF THERE IS A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON THEN THE PCM HAS A CODE STORED ON IT. IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE A THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR, BUT JUST CHECK THE CODE TO BE SURE. SOME OF THESE CAN ALSO HAVE A BAD IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU TO FIND THE PROBLEM. 2004 Chrysler Town and Country won't start. Lights, radio and horn works just fine. Even put in a new starter and still get nothing. Ran a wire from battery to the starter and got a little kick.

yes those chrysler minivans are known for bad trannys,,youll need a new one or a used trans,,,it will cost alot just to fix it,,,just replace then trans,common issue
