There may be some residue from the oil change, or something was left loose . It needs to be looked at. Return to the service center and have them take a look.

SOURCE: reset oil change indicator 2008 mercedes benz E350

With the key in position 1, hit the odometer reset button on the left on the cluster 3 times in a row. The cluster should beep once. scroll through the multifunction display with the page buttons until the display shows the onboard voltage screen. It will say something like "UB: 12.2 V" scroll threw this menu with with the up/down until you reach the "service menu" page. scroll down to "confirmation" press +, confirm full service with +. Wait till it says service confirmed. cycle the key off and then back on to position 2. Scroll to the normal service menu where it normally says how many days or miles till next service. If the service was reset correctly, it will say "service display not possible" for a few minutes while it recalculates. You must cycle the key off and back on before it will back out of the onboard diagnostic mode. If you dont back out, the esp/abs/bas lights will illuminate when the car is started

SOURCE: I have a 2006 mercedes benz E350 changed brake

this is a dealer only job iam afraid as they have to use special software to retract the calipers and as the pistons would not go back in iam assuming you undone the bleed nipples to get the pistons to go back in .Last time i done one of these i had the same problem but it was a newer model then a warning light came on so connected my code reader and the immobilisor came on as unauthorised access to the OBDII ,ended up in mercedes garage and the owner got a bill for 789 euros as it was mercedes spec to renew the disks as well as the pads every time they wear down ,and when i took owner to collect vehicle the new pads i fitted were not returned -- their was some snooty receptionist saying it wouldnt start because of illegal access to the OBDII ,i walked away before i hit him -- evidently the brake pad box has a bar code which has to be read with the light whilst vehicle is connected to the internet to confirm that they are genuine pads before the ABS and immobilisor is released by the factoy computer .About time i retired to a classic vehicle workshop

I'm driving a Mercedes-Benz E 350 and after driving for about 5km and switching off the engine, the car smells like oil and smoke coming from underneath the car. What can it be

First check your oil levels! Check it's at least 3 quarters full! You'll need to get a good mechanic to look at this SOON!!
It sounds like you have an oil leak higher up on the engine and the heat of the engine or exhaust is burning off the oil creating the smell and the smoke. There is also a chance that there is a fire risk if you don't get it looked at soon.

TRYING TO RESET E350 2006 "SERVICE C EXCEEDED

I don't think it can be reset without a dealer spec scan tool. Has the service been done? if so, the servicing garage should have reset it. Oil Changes are not "service" If it has not been done, have it done. If the service garage does not have the proper tools to reset the service indicator, they don't need to be working on MB.

My c220 1995 with 107,000 mercedes consumes 1lt every 1500 km but it does not have exaust blue smoke

Check for external oil leakage along right side of cylinder-head. Oil can burn on exhaust in such small amounts you will not see it or smell it.
