One of several possibilities. The first is one is one that I have seen at weddings and other celebrations. A friend thinking it is funny will put a wire hooking the two systems together so when the lights go on, the horn honks. That being said, I would look at the wiring to make sure the did not melt together is they are close to a heat source. Also a possibility, the clock spring in the steering column may be shorting. The combination switch could also be problematic.

It could very possibly be that your horn relay has gone bad. I believe you might find it on the inside of the front fenders or the inside of the radiator support. I'm an ol' Chevy guy so don't quote me!

sounds like a electrical problem. When you turn it is completing the circuit some how, sounds like wires are touching each other and making the horn honk when turning. easiest thing is remove the fuse if possible.

not sure you still need any answers but maybe someone else does. my 2003 yukon wwas randomly honking when i turned right or left and it only did it sometimes. turns out it was because there was a little issue in the steering wheel where the airbag is. i brought it to an auto electric guy and he fixed it for $80. he removed the horn/air bag and just bent the contacts slightly so they no longer came in contact with the horn when turning. it has worked great since that time.
