I am driving a 2001 Lincoln Navigator. Had the shocks replaced but the air compressor to them is not working. The windshield wipers no longer come on.

This morning the engine began making a whining noise while accelerating. Only at 35 mph and 70 mph.

SOURCE: 2000 lincoln Navigator air suspension

There are level control sensors they look like little arms (with joints like your elbows) mountesd on lower control arms. They may be at fault they control the height and turn the pump off when the height is reached. try adjust height first before you replace, they can be adjusted. Good Luck

SOURCE: ford explorer making loud roaring noise at 35 to 45 mph

what year is your explorer, if it is a newer one say within the last 10 years it could be from either the rear end or it could be from a hub bearing in the front end. these have problems with hub bearings going out.

SOURCE: When I get up to

Unfortunately, this is a somewhat common problem. Ford has issued several Technical Service Bulletins related to rear end noise. Without an extended warranty, this is something you will have to pay for.
TSB 05-23-3 11/28/05 REAR AXLE NOISE REPAIR FORD: 1997-2005 Expedition, F-150 2002-2005 Explorer LINCOLN: 1998-2005 Navigator 2003-2005 Aviator MERCURY: 2002-2005 Mountaineer
ISSUE:
Some vehicles may exhibit an axle whine or hum during acceleration, deceleration and/or cruise.
ACTION: An axle repair kit has been developed which incorporates most parts required for a comprehensive axle repair. The kit should be used instead of installing a complete axle assembly to repair an axle whine/hum. Replace Ring and Pinion with Axle Kit and Components.

What size coil springs for 2001 lincoln navigator rear supension

That is not a question you ask on the internet,
& no one has any diagrams, unless they own the
same vehicle & have purchased factory manuals

You ask a dealer by giving the parts dept your
VIN #

If your converting from air to conventional suspension,
then you ask the parts suppliers that sell the new parts
your going to use to replace the air shocks/struts

I just replaced my air compressor on my 2003 Lincoln Navigator. When I turned it on the rear end aired up to the highest it could go and my front never aired up....Help what could be the problem?

check for a leveler adjuster could be stuck or if you are sure that you have front air shocks the line could be leaking hoses cracked or broke or the shock itself could be damaged to check further to find the problem

My rear windshield wipers work randomly. Why? ?"I drive a 1999 lincoln navigator.

you could have a faulty wire connection at the motor, a faulty switch or your relay is broken, try to get a relay first and then look at the motor and lastly it sould be your switch.

Forgot toi turn the air suspension off when

Remove battery, remove windshield washer bottle, remove air compressor and disconnect both air lines from the compressor dryer. Make sure compressor electrical wiring is plugged in, install battery, turn suspension switch to ON, turn ignition switch to the ON position, close all door and the compressor should come on and completely lower the whole truck. Once the truck is completely down, turn the ignition OFF, remove battery and connect both air lines. Install battery ensure electrical wiring is plugged in, turn ignition switch to ON, the compressor should come on and raise the vehicle to the correct ride height.
