Fuel pump in a mitsubishi lancer 91.

I am wonderin how and where the fuel pump on my car is, its a 1991 mitsubishi lancer glx cb. please can someone help??

If its feul injection it will maybe be located inside the feul tank,just take out the back seat and look for a black plate which is secured wih 4 screws open it and you will see the wires going in remove those nuts and the pump and filter will come out

Sounds like you have an electrical loose connection. I would target the fuel pump relay. It is probably shutting off and coincidentally, reconnects when you stop and start again. Could also be the ECM, Mitsubishi has problems with these I have seen. Google your car make, year, and symptom. Read the blogs.

Mitsubishi lancer glx 2005 wont start no power on fuel pump and no spark
Before you do anything else find the fuse box and check for any relays or fuse blown. then check fuel pump itself by putting direct power from battery to see whether is working or not if not renew fuel pump. If you have no spark and any relay or fuse is not the cause,the go for distributor electronic module bad contacts,or finally ECU or Immobilizer.
