SOURCE: crank positioning censor

The camshaft position sensor is located on the timing cover on the front of the engine. The crankshaft position sensor is located just above the differential on the transaxle bell housing where it has to be to read from the flywheel the position of the crankshaft. It is easy to see from the front of the engine even though it is on the back half. Just look for the shifter cable and where its bracket ends (on the firewall side of the bracket) glance about 12" to the left and you should have no problem finding it. An 8 mm bolt is holding it in and with that bolt taken out it just pulls out of its hole. Google "95 caravan crankshaft position sensor" and then pick IMAGES so you can see an actual picture of what it looks like.

On a 2.7L it is located above and to the right of the starter. You will have remove the starter heat shield to gain access to it.

SOURCE: Where is the crank shaft positioning sensor

Look at the area around the crankshaft pulley. It's bolted to the block and senses the crank position. If it fails, You won't have an ignition spark. Good Luck, Ned

We did a engine swop on a 2004 Ford Focus with a 2.0 split port now it cranks but will not start I have replaced the coil pack, cam censor and crank censor still no start

There can be any number of reasons that it will not start. No fuel or no spark. You must find out which to follow. A scanner would be a big help to see what information is going to the computer. Could be that a feed wire from the battery is not connected. Is there power to all the fuses in the fusebox? Spray some starter fluid into the throttle body. it might be this sensor I can't think of the name of it but it is located by the thermostat. it is held on with 2 10mm bolts and has a connector similar to the mass sensor on it. This sensor controls spark.

HAVE TO RESET THE TIMING ON A FORD FOCUS ZETEC SE 1.6 WHERE IS THE CRANK SHAFT LOCATION FOR THE TIMING PIN?

As you look at engine from timing belt side by where the drive shaft runs at back of engine around four inches back there is a small 10mm bolt that goes into the engine block undo this and that is where the pin goes don't forget that the crank pulley gear is free wheeling so make sure you use a new crank bolt and use correct torque setting
