Battery good all my dash lights come on nothing when trying to start
If it does not turn over it is likely either the battery being low or the starter itself has gone bad. If I can assist further, reach me at https://www.6ya.com/thericepatch

You might have to change the spark plugs or at least have them cleaned.

need to check for voltage at the starter. if no volt meter is available, have someone hold the key in the crank position while you tap the starter with small hammer. if it breaks loose, replace the starter. happy holidays

You could have a start that has gone bad and will need to be replace,or your having a Passlock system problem.
Your Passlock may need to relearn the ignition keys, if the
ignition lock has gone bad like my in-laws Grand Am Gt, here is what i
did so they will not get stranded any more. Buy a Passlock by pass
module for around $70.00. You can orderone from GMPASSLOCK.COM in the
mean time try resetting the Passlock. Good luck
Ignition keys relearn takes about 30 min to do. 30-Minute Learn
Procedure
1.) Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2.) Attempt to
start the engine, then release the key to ON; the vehicle will not
start.
3.) Observe the SECURITY tell tale light. After approximately 10
minutes, the light will turn OFF.
4.) Turn OFF the ignition switch, and
wait 5 seconds.
5.) Repeat steps 1 through 4 - two more times - for a
total of 3 cycles of 10 minutes. 3x10 = 30 minutes.
The vehicle is now
ready to relearn the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or
passwords on the next ignition switch turn from OFF to CRANK Important:
Turn the Ignition Switch OFF. The vehicle learns the Passlock
Sensor Data Code and/or password on the next ignition switch transition
from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to
start the vehicle.
6.) Start the engine. The vehicle has now learned the
Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password.
7.) With a scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed. History DTCs
will self clear after 100 ignition cycles.
Without a scan tool you may
have momentary starter interruptions while history clears itself.

The clicking sound indicates that the battery is too low to start the vehicle. Accessories such as dash lights draw very little current, so they will work even when the battery is nearly depleted. Try removing the battery cables (negative first) and cleaning the cable ends and battery posts with a wire brush or sandpaper. Then check the water levels if yours is a serviceable battery, add distilled water if needed, replace and tighten the cables, then try to jump start from another vehicle. If it starts, let it run for a while and see if it will start again by itself. If so, that may be all you need. If it continues to lose its charge, you will need a new battery. If the vehicle will not start even with the jump, you may need a new starter.

Assuming you have a solid ground connection from the battery to the engine, try shorting the hot red terminal on the solenoid to the smaller terminal (not the ground terminal!)--the motor should crank. If not, you know the starter/solenoid is bad. If it cranks better than from the ignition switch, back up and check for bad starter relay, etc. Let us know what you find out, and we can continue troubleshooting.
