SOURCE: I need to siphon the gas out of 2002 Town & Country van.

you should try a smaller hose like 3/8 an try to work it back and forth if that wont work look under the car where the fill line meets the tank sometimes theres a rubber hose where u can disconnect the fill line at the tank and gas cap then put aside and siphon closer to tank

SOURCE: Does the 2004 cavalier have an anti-siphon valve

Yes, it has a wire mesh type anti syphon device, if you desperately need to syphon fuel from the vehicle it can be pushed through with the hose pipe, but you may risk blocking the fuel outlet if the mesh falls into the tank.

SOURCE: Does the 2004 cavalier have an anti-siphon valve

not 100% on this but i believe all cars after like 97 have an anti-siphon screen that keeps the tube from entering the gas tank.

SOURCE: I need to siphon the

as you are pushing the hose in the tank twist the hose so it rolls over and it should go in, the hose will probably need to be three feet long, you may have to go to lowes or home depot and get a longer hose that will also fit the siphon pump

SOURCE: can gas be siphoned from

They are right, I suppose if someone wanted to badly enough they could probably do it but it would be easier to put a hole in the tank and drain it out. I wouldn't worry about the cap.

What is the best way to get old gas out of a 1999 Pontiac grand Prix GT 3.8 liter v6

Curtis, Not an easy task to siphon out of GM's, may have to take the filler tube off to get a siphon hose to go past the back flow ball found in a lot of GM's. There are other ways, just be very careful as gas is very flammable and can be dangerous. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

How do i siphon gas from my Acura MDX?Hose gos in about 2 feet then stops?

You can't. There is a roll over valve/ball in the neck of the tank preventing a siphon hose from entering the tank

In hospital for over 1 year, my 2002 toyota echo was never started. Can I just siphon out of fill cap? What is best way to get rid of old gasoline. Thank you so very much.

how do you know the gasoline is bad? I have seen vehicles stand for several years and then start okay.Siphoning out through the filler cap is usually fairly hard to do as most cars today have a device in the neck of a tank to stop theft. If you really wanted to remove all the gas I would suggest using a hose of no more than half an inch in diameter. This may just fit down through the filler neck, you would have to play with it to be able to get it all the way to the bottom.

I need to drain gas out of my tank, my daughter put diesel in by mistake, how can i do it? this vehicle has an anti-syphon ball in the tank.

I would try disconnecting the filler hose and see if you can bypass the anti siphon ball by siphoning out of the tank it's self. Most of the time there is a a rubber hose that goes from the filler to the tank its self. If that does not work you may need to remove the gas tank and drain it.

When I try and siphon gas from my 1991 Olds Cutlass Supreme, I can't seem to get the hose all the way into the gas tank. Is there some type of restriction that hinders siphoning?

You can,t there is a ball inside that will let fuel in Its there so if the vehicle rolls over the ball moves beck to stop the fuel spilling out of the tank You would need to disconnect the fuel inlet hose at the tank to siphon fuel from the tank
