O2 sensors ( oxygen sensors) are found after the cat converter
heated oxygen sensor (HO2S and a completely different oxygen sensor ) are located in the exhaust manifold or before the cat converter
Their are 2 oxygen sensors on your 2.7 engine, here's a link showing you them. https://www.autozone.com/repairinfo/repairguide/repairGuideContent.jsp?fromSearchPage=true&pageId=0996b43f802d6afa&partName=Heated+Oxygen+Sensor&partId=0996b43f802d6afa&repGuide=VehicleRepairGuides-Avenger,+Sebring+Coupe,+Stratus+Coupe,+1999-2006-null

bank 1 refers to the side of the engine that #1 cylinder is on , and sensor 2 refers to downstream , after the catalytic converter. , this link shows bank 1 on a 2001 nissan maxima V6 being on the firewall side . if you had a 4 cylinder it would be downstream after the catalytic converter .

B1 means the sensor is located on the same bank of the engine that has the #1 cylinder. B2 is located on the opposite bank.
S1 means the sensor is located BEFORE the catalytic converter
S2 means the sensor is located AFTER the catalytic converter
You didn't say which engine you have, so I've included the diagrams of both 4 cyl and 6 cyl so you can see the banks

A great tool to have that can save you some money to read computer error codes and clear them after work has been done can be had for under $100 from Actron. This is what I have been using and its a life saver but it's also good to have the vehicles repair manual as well.
The computer on this car is OBDII like many other vehicles out there these days so you'll need a tool that can plug in and read the outlet located above the shin of your right leg under the dashboard or steering wheel. Here is a link to a bunch of their products on amazon Actron and other OBDII Computer diagnostic code reader tools.

a sticking thermostat will cause the heat to be cold, that bleeder screw is to help purge the air out of the cooling system, when you add coolant to the radiator loosen this screw a bit and it will let the air out of the system, loosen the screw and add water until you get just water coming out, not bubbles, if it has bubbles coming out all the air isnt out of the system, try this first before replacing thermostat as air in the system will have an effect on the system
