2006 G35 Infiniti. Binding at very low speed when wheel turn.

Hello, I just bought my son a 2006 Infiniti G35 and I have a problem when I first take off real slow and turn the wheel, There is a binding taking Place. Also VDC OFF and SLIP lights come on my dash, Took care to Oriely and read codes C1143 Steering Angle Sensor Circiut and 1115 Antilock Brake system Sensor Malfuntion Signal and P1211 Traction Control System C/U Functn. With all this said, Is it probably just a sensor or multiple sensors, and how do I identify which ones to change? Thanks in advance, Want to get this fixed adap as he gets his license in a few weeks

Inspect the steering mechanism. Is one of the tie rods somehow hitting a wheel speed sensor at the hub?

SOURCE: code c1277 (steering angle sensor)

this vehicle uses a steering control module and the antilock control module. Both modules get a signal from the steering angle sensor. We found that the steering module didnot show a steering sensor code but the ABS module did show the code.
after checking that the wiring was intact and with good continuity, it was determined that the fault lies in the ABS module.
A new ABS module and configuration confirmed the diagnosis. It's fixed!

When you disconnect connectors under the dash, you are likely to cause issues with the anti theft system, when you disconnect the battery, you DEFINITELY do. Now you need to reset the security system. Is the anti theft light on solid?

I have a 2006 infiniti g35x I notice the car is making a thumping noise in the front end and is more noticeable at lower speeds it does not necessarily get worse with breaking but does not change seems to...

It's the anti-sway bar endlinks. My '06 g35x has the same symptoms - clunking at low speeds, varying from which side of the car the noise comes from as to which side of the car is hitting bumps in the road surface. EASY to replace yourself with the front end on jack stand, and you don't even need to remove the underbody plastic panel, so it's quicker than an oil change. To verify this is the problem before you order the parts (which are about $100 for the x, as it's a different part altogether than the endlinks on the RWD sedans or coupes, so be careful when ordering), just remove the current endlinks and take a test drive - don't worry about removing the whole sway bar, just the links at the ends of the bar). If this is the case, you will not hear the clunking any more. I do not recommend driving like this for any distance, as the car will become tail happy and your sway bar ends could point towards the ground while left unsupported and become damaged.

Oil is leaking by the front right wheel

Sounds like this might be a brake fluid leak or power steering fluid leak if its coming from the right wheel. Inspect your fluid levels on the car, this should give you an insight on what is running low on fluid and should lead you to the problem.

What causes hard steering 2006 infinity g35

Could be many things, first thing i would check is steering pump. (When your sitting there stopped, turn your wheel and listin for a wining noise, if its really wine-y while your in the process or turning it, it could be low on power steering fluid, or your pump could be dying.) Other then that, you would need to get your steering wheel linkage checked, down to the connection to the wheels. (I dont know as much about the mechanical parts (ie. steering rod, tie rod, blah blah blah) since i only learn from past experience..
Good Luck!
