Try replacing the transmission filter and the trannie fluid. Mine would only go in reverse, and now it drives pretty well. This year has a screw on filter. Hope this helps

I need to know the what the problem for error code for Imm 1572 is for a Subaru WRX 2002 sedan ? Thank u

LMM? Most trouble codes are a letter followed by four numbers, example P0121. Not sure what you a talking abut or how you came up with the number you did. A little more background as to what your problem is may help.

If the starter, alternator and battery are good; it could be a bad cable.sometimes the cable itself corrodes inside, i might try to change the battery cable altogether.

I have a 2008 Impreza Outback Sport and the battery ran down (I'd been away and the car had been sitting for too long). When I tried jumping it from my friend's car, the alarm kept going off. The horn...

Okay, heres the problem the battery is low and the alarm is going crazy without enough voltage but something to try is to connect the jumper cables and have all doors shut. leave the cables on for a few minutes, if the alarm starts to go off as soon as you connect cables then dont wait, take the key and go to drivers door and lock and unlook the door lock with the key this will shut down alarm system and then try to start the car, it should start up and let run for a while, also the computer may have lost its idle memory so this means you will need to hold the gas pedal a little to keep it running, after a minute you can slowly release it and let it idle, you will know if this needs to be done when you start the car and it dies out, you will then strat it and hold gas, just a little bit enough to keep the engine running, hope this helps, have a good day.

if it's after market alarm system, (not the original factory instaled) then you're probaly right that would be the problem, or if you have aftermarket remote start instaled, they are causing many issue also.

2002 Subaru Impreza Sport Wagon electrical - door locks

Make SURE your door key, outside in the door... is straight up and down. The security system is protecting the car, it thinks the doors need to be locked. This is sometimes caused by the keyhole not being verticle.

Doors will not open using remote or disarm alarm. unlocking with key and as soon as door is opened alarm is activated , have replaced batteries in keys

You must enter the system using the EKA code, it will written in the service book how to activate the EKA. If you dont have the EKA code, you will have to take the car to the dealer to reset the system and give you the code. hope that helps
