SOURCE: Driver and Passenger auto door locks are inop.

Sounds like bad wiring, or bad door lock actuators. Check for power while locking/unlocking the doors.

The motor is shot. It works a little and overheats, replace the motor . Same thing the the lock acuators. The are trying but have lost the power to move the locks. May as well replace them while the door is apart.

SOURCE: 1992 CHEVROLET ASTRO van no heat?

Since your blower is working and it is a heat issue, thats where we'll start,First thing is have you checked the coolant level in the radiator when engine is cold, make sure it is filled to top, next verify you have coolant in reserve ,Start your van and get it up to normal operation temperature,If your heat gauge on the dash works correctly it should be 190 degrees,Now lift the hood and locate the two heater hoses going into the heater assembly at the fire wall,Both hoses should be hot to hold on to,if both are hot and no heat inside your problem will be the blend air door in heater assembly.
if neither hose is that hot you need to replace the thermostat in the engine to get it up to 195 degrees.
if one hose is hot and one is luke warm then the heater core is blocked and to blame. hope this helps you.

Cannot electrically operate door locks 2002 Astro Van

Is there B+ voltage to the switch ? Check for broken wires inside the rubber boot from the body to the door .

I did check switches on doors and found good continuity. ??? Ohm test or voltage
Is there B+ voltage on the orange wire at the drivers door switch ? There are two relays one locks the other unlocks . The Cig LTR fuse supplys B+ voltage to the door switches ,not the actuators . PWR ACCY circuit breaker powers the actuators through the lock / unlock relays ! Check out wiring diagram here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html

The Hatch window on my 2002 Astro Van won't open?

To start with , stick the little red nozzle from WD-40 in the key slot as far as you can & spray real good in there. Can you hear lock "thump" when you hit remote for unlock, or open?

1999 chevy astro locks dony work?

Lock actuator on the rear hatch may be bad, I had to replace 3 actuators all at one on my van. I have the same problem with my drivers door you are having with your doors, today I'm gonna pull the door panel off and check the wiring and voltage.

2003 Astro van - power locks & AC issues...

There is a vacuum line that goes from the vacuum reservoir (usually next to the bottom of the passenger side engine) up and across the top of the engine to connect on the driver side of the engine. The vaccum line cracks/leeaks and will not allow the vent vacuum actuators to function. Replace the line. Use a thicker wall buts same inside diameter rubber vaccuum hose. Probably under $5. People waste a bunch of time replacing the actuators, switches, etc. Its just the vacuum line and poor original placement/design.

ASTRO 2004

Small vacuum hose(1/8 inch) is broken or has a crack causing a vacuum leak. Leak could be between intake on engine to vacuum canister or from canister to control inside van. It runs inside the wireing harness. Canister is mounted passenger side of engine bay. Black and about the size of a grapefruit. I had same problem on 2 astro vans.
