you need to remove all the screws on the bottom of the glove box on the outside, then on the inside remove all the screws too. and then pull it out. sometimes some glove boxes have stoppers on the edge of the door inside and you have to pry on them to pull the stoppers in front of the side of the glove box so you can remove it entirely from the dash.

SOURCE: Need to replace intake gasket 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera

I am doing intake gaskets right now on an expedition and you have to look carefully around and take your time and you will find what is holding you up from taking it out because nowhere in the book does it state you had to take the two bolts out for the thermastat housing on the expedition that I am working on you can also go to auto zone and they can give you a diagram because you will need the torque specs anyways

Lift car on jack stands, disconnect the car battery and while under car you will find two bolts that hold it heat shield on front and back of starter. After removing the heat shield, this will give you access to the bolt against the engine on top. Two other bolts easy to get to. Disconnect wires to starter and then remove bolts. Install in opposite procedure

I don't know what size wrench to use to replace the water pump on a 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Are there any special things I need to know before beginning?

you don`t say what motor, the pulley has a 1/2"(13mm)bolts(nuts) holding it to the pump.the pump bolts should be 3/8"(10mm) and 1/2"(13mm) bolts holding it to the timing cover, make sure all old gasket is cleaned off of surface, install new in reverse order, make sure all air is out of system after refilling and run car to operating temp.

Replacing 1999 oldsmobile cutlass headlight bulb

remove the pins and the plastic shield over the headlight housing.pull straight up on the 2 clips to release housing from ball studs , twist and withdraw the bulbs from housing!! do not touch bulbs, oil from skin will make them blow out quicker, if need be use a pair of clean gloves to be safe, installation the reverse of removal!!!
