Bank 1 is always the same side of the engine as the number 1 cylinder. Bank 2 is always the other side of the engine. Sensor 1 is always before the catalytic converter. Sensor 2 is always after the catalytic converter.
Cylinder 1 is on the passenger side on a 5.4 liter.
clogged catalytic converter, replace it with a new one, or remove old one, use a long pipe and punch a hole through it, empty out the pieces, and reinstall. That will work if you don't get the sniffer stuck on your exhaust during emissions testing, as your emissions will be very high using my pipe through the converter method.
Advance auto and auto zone sell just the flex pipe. You will need to have someone cut the old one out and weld the new one in. costs about $20 for part vs $300 for pipew/catalitic converter attached.
