My mazda mpv 2001 it does not start. replaced several parts and it does not start. starter problem?

Crank but will not start. I've replaced the Camshaft sensor, Crankshaft sensor, All 6 Spark plugs, All 6 Ignition coils. I've checked all the fuses under the hood and under the dash, and they were all good. I pulled a code of crankshaft sensor but after replacing the sensor, I cleared it out. Now there are no codes but the van still won't start.

Not a starter problem
could be a problem immobilizer or a flat battery in the key fob
That will not show up in a code check
always run the fault codes before you waste money replacing what is good
there has to be a reason for it not starting and the immobilizer is a good place to test

Hi Bill Boyd, you are right!, do you know how to test the immobilizer? if i have to replace it, do i have to get a new keys? or reprogram? or just unplug the old one and plug the new one? with the same keys?
    thank you for your help!

the immobilizer sensor is around the ignition switch and is deactivated when the correct key is put in the ignition
if the key battery is flat , it is read as the wrong key and will not start the engine
the immobilizer is normally integrated in the ECM
you don'y need new keys just a new battery for the key
best have it checked by a service center

1989 Mazda MPV V6 RWD: Intermittent starting problem. Battery checks out good, and just replaced starter/solenoid. connections are good at both the battery and the starter. Solenoid clicks but engine does...

More than likely the starter solenoid has burnt contacts in it, this is a common problem with all Denso designed starter motors used in almost all Japanese cars and light trucks. You can either try and find a solenoid or just replace the starter. The solenoid can be repaired if you can find the contact kit for it, most are available on line for about $20, just google it.

1989 MAZDA MPV NO CRANK NO START STARTER TESTS GOOD.

Assuming you've checked the battery for a possible short and both the battery and the starter for loose connections, no click sounds like a faulty starter solonoid, which could work intermittently.

Hi my 2001 mazda mpv started staling when come to a stop and had very low rpms when idleing. I ran a obd2 test and the idle air control came up and crankshaft position sensor. I changed IAC with new one,...

After I visited the website named "MPVclub.com," I read an article there that shows the crank position sensor to be located on the right side of the motor buy the crank pulley. You can't miss it, it is right in between the crank pulley and the a/c compressor. Go to www.MPVclub.com, then go to forums, which is on the left hand side of the page, go to 00-06 MPVproblems, go to page 2 and go to the bottom of the page to "PO335 Crankshaft position sensor Replacement, you will see the comments and some pics that will guide you to it.
Hope this helps.

Where is the starter on a 2001 mazda mpv, and is there anything special you have to do to take it off

It's on the side near the bottom of the engine. Follow the positive wire (red) from the battery as it goes straight to the starter.
