Crank but will not start. I've replaced the Camshaft sensor, Crankshaft sensor, All 6 Spark plugs, All 6 Ignition coils. I've checked all the fuses under the hood and under the dash, and they were all good. I pulled a code of crankshaft sensor but after replacing the sensor, I cleared it out. Now there are no codes but the van still won't start.
Not a starter problem
could be a problem immobilizer or a flat battery in the key fob
That will not show up in a code check
always run the fault codes before you waste money replacing what is good
there has to be a reason for it not starting and the immobilizer is a good place to test
Hi Bill Boyd, you are right!, do you know how to test the immobilizer? if i have to replace it, do i have to get a new keys? or reprogram? or just unplug the old one and plug the new one? with the same keys?
thank you for your help!
the immobilizer sensor is around the ignition switch and is deactivated when the correct key is put in the ignition
if the key battery is flat , it is read as the wrong key and will not start the engine
the immobilizer is normally integrated in the ECM
you don'y need new keys just a new battery for the key
best have it checked by a service center
