I have a chrysler sebring i have had starting problems since i bought it a year ago it is a 2003 model

It kept blowing the number 11 fuse i think might be wrong about the number sorry eventually put a larger amp fuse in it and so far no blown fuse problems it has a good battery but when you try to start it it turns over very slowly like the battery is run down but always starts today however it would not start in park i had to start it in neutral this might be also connected with another thing every once in a while when you start it and put it in gear it is not actually in the gear you want this is corrected by turning the car off and restarting but the starting problem seems to be getting worse i need to figure this out before i get stranded can you help thank you mike

2 items spring to mind
the battery should be load tested as there may be a failing cell dropping the voltage too low when the starter is in use
pull the starter and have it bench tested as the armature will pole out from failed bushes and that will make the action very slow and also cause low voltage from the excessive current flow
as for the park and neutral problems , I would be checking the connections to the switches for corrosion , loose or burnt
get a schematic diagram of the fuse set up as increasing the amps of a fuse in use is a recipe for a burnt car
talk with an auto electrician about it when you take the starter to him

Blown fuse amp start fuel 8

Pls be more specific, doe's this fuse keep blowing or what? Fuse blows and your car won't start. I have a 2004 GTC and the #8 fuse kept blowing, had to replace the starter, (it was pulling 80amps instead or the normal 30-35) once the starter was replaced, no more starting issues and the fuse no longer blows. Hope this helps, good luck

We keep blowing Fuses. We replaced the relay and still keeps blowing fuses. We don't know if it is a computer or wiring. Not sure where to start.

2002 pt cruiser fuse #11 blown

According to my diagram, number 11 is a 10amp fuse that powers the ac clutch relay. I don't see how it would keep the engine from starting.
Is the fuse you are talking about in the engine compartment box and is it a 10amp ?

I have a 2004 sebring that i bought new. the instrument cluster lights dont work, i checked interior fuses number 7 and 11 that relate to the instrument cluster illumination. they seem to be fine.

If the fuses are good there should be a dial that adjusts the brightness of the dash panel. If this dial doesn't work then the bulbs for the dash panel might be blown out.

The fuse of my chrysler 2001 sebring is blowing and the car wont start

yea agree but first listen when u turn the key, if the fuel pump makes some noise it means u have a problem with the starter! if no sound from the pump (sound should comes from the back seats) then its pump!

Starter/Fuel Pump fuse, or the Relay Fuse blow

the fuel pump comes on when you turn the key on the starter comes on when you turn all the way to start so i would think the short is in the fuel pump if it blows by just turning the key on

Car wii not start with a jump.

Could be a number of things. A starter, starter solenoid, ignition relay or fuse problem. There are a few different fuses and relays that will be located on your fuse panel and under the hood that deal with your starting power and feed to ignition system
