Unable to lock or un-lock,it does its own thing by locking then unlocking every time.

Hmmmm....
2 things to consider:
- Key - has it been damaged? If you have a spare key try to gently jiggle it into the lock. If it won't go all the way in then the problem will be with the lock.
- Lock - Is there an obstruction? Try using WD-40 with the plastic tube in the nozzle. Slide it as far into the lock as possible and try to flush out the problem. Sometimes insects will make nests in key slots. They did in my ride on mower ignition.

Look closely, all these plugs have some sort of locking mechanism to prevent them from accidentally opening , usually a hook or catch ,, pressing , pulling or sliding while wiggling the connection at the plug not the wires,, they can be quite troublesome,,

easy and cheap repair ,look on the end of the door lever with the door handle and their is a rubber cover ,remove this and undo the allen headed screw ,now hold the door handle and pull it out to open the door position the slide it backwards and it will come out ,look on the back of the door lock and their is a contraption that opens the door lock inside the door .this kit for this is cheap from the auto factor about 2 euros is all i pay for this kit ,fiddly job to fit but easy to do then refit the door handle ,you can reset the alarm by looking for the flat slot on the door lock inside and turn it with screwdriver as this will lock and unlock the lock de-activating the alarm .Right time to go to work now this is the last answer for now as have a citreon picasso to repair and a citreon timing belt to change ,real cars but first iam off for my morning coffee as this is spain after all land of manana ,siesta and fiesta

i got peugeot 106 ...! when i waz washing my car by mistake i lock child safety lock....! and i can not open it agein how ever i manage to un lock child key but the door still lock plz help thanks,,,,,( i tryed evre thing)

try changing the batteries in the remote.....

If you are refering to the Theft Lock code, you must first push the right sequence of radio buttons to enter the un lock mode in the radio's computer. Once the radio's Theft Lock Identifier code is displayed, you then enter the un lock code into the radio. Ususally, this is a dealer operation as they have the online program to retrieve the unlock code after they submit your Theft Lock ID code. I'm wondering how you were able to get a unlock code without the dealer's assistance.

This could be hard to diagnose for someone that doesn't know about electronically controlled automotive systems . There are two electronic control modules involved ! (FEM) front electronic control module and the (REM) rear electronic control module . The first step would be to hook up a scan tool to look at input data to the control modules. Corrupt signals to the module ! B+ power an ground circuits problems . The wiring inside the harness from the body to driver door , opening an closing of the door breaks the wires over time . Load testing the circuit will find the problem.

I locked the 2000 lincoln continental with the key fob but lost it now the ignition key wilolo not unlock the door

there is a short or a signal from the un-locking switch that is triggering your locks.

you have a switch manually to lock and un-lock your doors, the unlocking circuit is making contact.

you can try playing with your switch to un-short the switch or open it up ang check it.
