Check the fuel pressure on the injector fuel bar its a tiyre valve looking thing and put a pressure gauge on this and it should read 55lbs

YA NO BIG DEAL PUT SOME 93 AND SOME BOOSTER YOULL BE OKAY

Your car is and will be fine - the lower octane fuel just predisposes the engine to
pre-ignition pinging (you don't want to make a habit of it, but its no big deal). Plus, by diluting
it with Ultra 93 octane, you raised the overall octane of the fuel in the tank to somewhere
around (87+93) /2 = 90. Happy motoring.

DRAIN OUT EXTRA OIL.PUT THE RIGHT AMOUNT OIL IN.CADILLAC 4.6L ENGINE WITH NEW FILTER HOLDS 7.5 QUARTS. THE CADILLAC 4.9L ENGINE WITH NEW FILTER HOLDS 5.5 QUARTS.TELL SON CHECK THE OIL LEVEL ON THE DIP STICK.DONT GO PAST FULL MARK. TOO MUCH OIL IN ENGINE CAN BLOW FRONT OIL SEAL.CAUSE PAN GASKET LEAKS AND FOUL OUT SPARK PLUGS.

Under the hood, Drivers side, on engine front bottom side. It looks like a small round launch rocket with a space shuttle on top and a large battery cable attached to that. Look for it!

diswconnect negative battery cable remove plastic rock shield at rear of starter remove battery cable from starter remove purple wire from solenoid remove bracket from front of starter remove two bolts from back of starter, manuver starter out. if previous work has been ay have to raise the engine thi procedure is for the 4.9 engine

Check the filter to make sure it the right one and on tight. Do not drive without oil. Engine will seize-up.
