Replace the input speed sensor. Open the hood and look down, on the drivers side, at the transmission. At he front you will see two rubber lines at the transmission. The sensor is right below them. Remove those lines to remove the sensor.

I have a 1998 dodge caravan 3.3L fault codes p0500 p0700 p0720 p0715, how do I repair and replace sensors to pass smog test

Follow the links for each fault code.

P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction
P0720 Output Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P0715 sets when there is an error in the transmission's input speed sensor signal. On the front of the trans there is an input and output speed sensor that the trans controller looks at for shifting control.

While the code could have set because of a wiring or connection problem, it's almost surely the sensor. Input speed sensor failures are not uncommon.

The input speed sensor is mounted right on the front of the trans directly under where the cooler lines attach. It threads directly in and has a 1" hex for a socket for removal. If the wiring and connection look visibly ok then I would recommend replacing the sensor

My 05 Pacifica went into "limp in" mode which means it is stuck in 2nd gear. I took it to AutoZone and put it on the code machine. It pulled up P0700, P0715, P0731 and P0733. I changed out hte Speed Sensor...

Well code 700 is a generic code that means there is a problem with the transmission or the control module. Code 731 is for a problem with first gear which would explain why it stays in second gear.
Someone will need to check the circuits involved with first gear and the trans control module. A shop manual will be necessary to get the testing procedures.
