This system is in a Suzuki Grand Vitara 2011 I need the by pass code to get the radio going the system is a clarion VX401
SOURCE: where is the starter for a 2000 suzuki grand vitara located
starters are normally located at the rear of the motor usually hard to get too or see. should be on your bell housing in other words just in front of the gearbox/clutch
SOURCE: radio code
No tricks...if you got any of the original paperwork with the vehicle check and see if anyone wrote down the code (on the inside cover of the manual etc) If not, go to any dealer and show them that you are the owner and they can get the code for you. When you get it, write it down so you will always have it! (I never heard of a dealer charging for that info)...Good luck with your vehicle!
SOURCE: suzuki grand vitara (J20A) and error code P0340.
p0340 is indicating a problem with the CMP sensor .. thats "camshaft position sensor" ... the 340 would indicate that the sensor is open or shorted (not giving information) ... look for disconnected or defective CMP or CAMP sensor ..
Testimonial: "thanks a lot"
Its below the Dashboard, on the left side of your knee. You have to use a torch & locate it from under the Dashboard, Its roughly near to the Clutch Pedal.
Here, it looks like this:
(The Black one is the Fuse box)

My wife left the ignition on with the lights on and drained the battery completely. I'm having the exact same problem. Any ideas how to fix it?
