Usually when you get at the turn switch, you can use a jumper wire to bypass the turn switch and make the turn signals dance. If they won't work with the jumper, the problem isn't the turn switch. Maybe a problem with flasher or wiring issue in steering column?

Did you check for voltage at the turn fuse? Goes hot with the key on. Use a test light to check for voltage.

My left signal on Opel astra G caravan doesn't work.

Here are a few things you can check to diagnose and potentially fix the issue:
  1. Check the turn signal bulb: Start by checking the turn signal bulb on the left side. Sometimes a burnt-out bulb can cause the signal to stop working. Try replacing the bulb with a new one and see if that solves the problem.
  2. Check the fuse: If the bulb is not the issue, the next thing to check is the turn signal fuse. Check the fuse box and locate the fuse for the turn signals. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new one and test the turn signal again.
  3. Check the wiring: If the bulb and fuse are both fine, the issue could be with the wiring in the turn signal circuit. Check the wiring connections around the turn signal assembly for any signs of corrosion or damage. Also, check the wiring connections to the turn signal switch and the flasher unit.
  4. Check the turn signal switch: If the wiring connections are all good, the issue could be with the turn signal switch itself. Check the switch for any signs of damage or wear. You may need to replace the switch if it is faulty.
If you're unsure about any of these steps or if the problem persists after trying these solutions, it's recommended to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic or automotive electrician for further diagnosis and repair.

1984 Nissan Maxima. A guy was getting my broken key out of my ignition and I think he must of unplugged something to make my turn signals quit. I'm not sure i just know after he did that they quit...

Something could have happened to the key switch, or the turn signal switch.
I would want to know if you have power from the fuse into the turn signal switch to proceed.

Rear Turn signal is not working

Aren't your brake lights and turn signal lights on the same bulb, same filament? Recheck the bulb in the rear, as the rapid blinking is an indication of a burnt out bulb. If the bulb is the correct one and is good, check the connector and socket at the housing for a loose or poor connection.

My turn signals in my 1997 dodge ram 1500 quit working. i heard it could be the fuse in the steering column or maybe the wires in the column. How do I go about checking that?

Do the brake lights and the turn signal lights share the same bulb, or section of the lense. If so it's likely to be either a fuse or the turn signal switch. Check the fuses under the DASH, not column, with a fuse tester (auto parts store under $10). If fuses are OK then check the bulbs. Seek mechanic past this.

95 lumina turn signals

make sure you replaced the correct directional light relay, and not the hazard relay. Check all fuses. check grounds at rear lights. If all of the following are good, your lumina would have a faulty multifunction switch.
