your problem is totally keyless entry related.it means that the immobiliser box got wet or is corroded inside.open the box and clean out.look for broken tracks or loose connections.last option replace unit
try spraying it w/ wd-40 or graphite, work the lock back and forth w/ your finger or a screwdriver. it also could be that its in the locked position now, w/ door open pull handle and see if latch moves/ opens. if it does close door. if this doesnt work go to local junk yard and pick latch up for 50.00 bucks. hope this helps
