I have 1999 s320 , i bought 3 new battery for my key , they key will work for 3 days than will stop ,please i need help

Every time i buy new battery for my key It will work for 3 days than stop

Unfortunately most of the key fobs are badly built, right from the factory. 99% of the time the battery circuit board contacts in the fob get loose and the battery will only make intermittent contact so sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. You need to open the fob and closely inspect all the solder joints, any loose joints need to be re-soldered, the unit should then work fine.

You need a skilled auto-electrician, not a mechanic, one that has a high end scan tool computer that can analyze the stored and live data, plus reading any DTC Codes.

To me, it sound like you have a failing battery, possibly erratic charging and some bad grounds. The electronics on Mercedes are overly complex.

Hi i have a 1999 mercedes s320 we were driving up a hill and it just stop.Now it wont start . There is iginition lights but wont turn over. Thanks

their are some electrical issues with s320 throttle valve electric failure --coil pack failure -- check fuses and relays then check battery and connections and try to start with boost if starts check and test battery and alternator --and check the wiring connections for loose , frayed , damaged ,and corrosion the following link are some of the problems acossiated with your vehicle

the chip on the key is probly worn--the computers not recognizing it--may also hav bad ignition lock on the colum---------get a new set made if its the rite key set--yull need a spare anyway

Hi have a 1995 S320 LWB.all electronuics work and one day it will not start up.All lights on dash board l;oghyt up without error.But it will not fire up. Please help

first lock the car and unlock by remote key then start, try this few times if not start by it need to call technician.

I have a Saab 2.2tid linear (2003). the central locking system has just stopped working completely, there was no warning to suggest its the battery in the key.. before it stopped working altogether it used...

THE SAAB 9 -3 REMOTE BATTERY HAS TO BE REPLACED AND REPROGRAMMED AT THE DEALERSHIP.THE SAAB 9 - 5 YOU COULD REPLACE REMOTE BATTERY AND REPROGRAM OR SYNCHRONIZATION BY PRESSING REMOTE KEY BUTTON UNLOCK BUTTON AT LEAST 4 TIMES TO REPROGRAM KEY REMOTE TRANSMITTER.
