Try unlocking the door manually with the keys. If problem still happens. Your door or hood switch may be defective. They will send a false signal to the alarm that indicates one is open.

You will needs to think of it this way. Once you set your alarm it is looking for the corresponding signal to disable itself. That comes from the fob. If you don't use the fob and just use the key, the alarm system is doing its job and alerting you since it has not received the disable command from the fob. Either lock the door with the button when you exit the car if you want to use the key or use the alarm fob. This will also happen if you use the car manufacturers fob to unlock the car if you have locked it with the alarm manufacturers fob.
Hope that helps - I have hidden all of my original car fobs to help alleviate this problem!
Hook up cables and lock all doors, first try unlocking drivers door with key. If that does not workstart over and then try unlocking trunk/hatch with key. This usually will work, I highly sugest you use original key if possible.
If you have a keyless remote, use it to lock and unlock your doors-if not, lock your door with the door lock, close the door, and unlock the door with the key. This should reset the alarm.
the lock cylinder switch on the lock cylinder is bad or the wire that goes to it is broken and if its broken it will be in that rubber boot that goes from the door to the body.you can diarm the alarm by unlocking one of the other doors or tailgate with the key
try pulling your negative terminal lose from the battery for a few minutes and allow the system to zero out then try it if tht don't work then visit your local honda dealership
hi there from what it sounds to me is that the alarm is still in anit theft mode i had this happen to my vehicle
one thing you can try is lock all the doors try and unlock from the passenger side make sure that all the lock come up to the top where they should be then try it
if that does not work then lift up the rear of the car like it was being towed and it should reset the alarm short of that you will have to have alarm shop come to you don
Lock all the doors from the inside (with all the doors closed), unlock your driver's door by manually lifting the lock, then press it back down after you are out - this will prevent the alarm from sounding when you use the key to unlock the door.
OK...I figured it out. With the driver door open, manually lock all door locks, then manually lock drivers door. Unlock driver door with key. Alarm did not go off anymore.
