My 1996 nissan is runing rough

I always check the simple things first, and it has served me well. It could be clogged injectors, put a bottle or two of injector cleaner in your (full) gas tank. Could also be dirty air filter, or combination of the two. Check fuel filter too, I've seen those do a lot of weird things when they get clogged to the point of restricting fuel flow. Good luck

1998 chevy tahoe 4x4 wont start. not getting fuel to throttle body I have replaced the fuel pump and it still will not stay running unless I pore gas into the throttle body...

Computer showing any codes? Could be a bad regulator or a leak in the system allowing air in and fuel to flow back to the gas tank.

1987 Ecoline van V-8 engine hasn't been started in about 7 years. It ran good before that. What do I have to do first to start it and get it running?

I would change all the fluids and either try dry gas or i would recommend that the gas tank be thoroughly drained and new gas put in the tank.If you have a hard time getting started try to use starter fluid in carburetor or if you have none just use gas. If the vehicle is equipped with fuel injectors locate air filter and follow air duct to engine that is where starter fluid or gasoline will have to be pored to prime the injectors.if it don't start the engine should be tuned up with a major tune up replace all filters ect even if it starts without tune up i would tune it up asap!

How do you change the fluid and filter in the transmission of a 02 tundra?

I don't know how to change the filter I've change mine's transmission fluid by removing the drain plug in the bottom of the transmission. This only remove about 4 quarts of fluid ( it's best to measure it by poring it back into quart bottles after draining ). You refill it by poring it down the dip stick hole. Pore back in the same amount you drained out.

Gas filter change. Ā How to do it and where it's located?

The fuel filter is about 10 dollars. It is under the car on the drivers side just about even with the back of the drivers door. You MUST jack up the car a bit and put a safetly block of wood or cement block under the car in case the jack fails. Wiggle under the car and note the metal gas line runing from the tank in the back of the car up to the front. Along the way is a metal "can" about the size of a Red Bull can. You must loosen the hose clamp that holds it to the body of the car with a slotted screwdriver. Then try to pull off the rubber gas line hose from each end. This requires some effort. On my 2001 each hose end is held onto the filter by a clip that must be pressed down on each side to "open" the clip so it will slide off the ridge on the filter. When installing the new filter BE SURE to squeeze this clip again and make sure it is grabbing the ridge on the filter otherwise it will leak. Test by gently pulling on the rubber hose. It should not come off the filter.

When disconnecting the filter expect to get some gas on your hands and arms.

Good luck.

307 diesel air pipe collapses when engine runs

Hi

It sounds like the initial intake hose on a 90 bhp HDi engine, in which case you need to follow it and check for blockages, including inside the air box after removal of the air filter.
