My Ford F250 6.0 disel runs out of coolent and no leakes smell of coolent in the cab

First I would look at all the hoses for pinhole leaks. The test the water pump by trying to move the radiator fan back and forth(on a longitudinal engine, not transverse). Turn on the engine and see if there is any coolant leaking from the front of the coolant pump. If so, the coolant pump is going bad. Otherwise, can you smell the sweet smell of coolant in the cab? If so, you probably have a leaking heater-core,

Sounds like you have a pinhole leak in a hose which is spraying coolent on a hot engine part that evaporates it on contact making it hard to track down.

sounds to me the hissing is the sound of a leaking heater core. Its smells weird becuse coolent usually has a sweet smell that is very noticeable. I bet the floor is wet/carpet damp in the front near the hissing. I bet your coolent level is low as well. Replace heater core.

Hey man odds are you have a small fuel leak under the hood probably like a pinhole in a fuel line. When you turn on the ac you are pulling air from the front of the vehicle in turn pulling in the fuel smell. Find and stop the leak and that should get rid of the smell in the cab when the ac is running.

yes it sounds like it might be the heater core when your heater core goes bad it leaks and seeing that it is in the cab it will have that smell usually when it leaks your floors will be wet from the leak. bypass the heater core unitl you can get it fixed to prevent any electrical problems

smell it where? inside? if its inside, you have a heater core leaking.

You have a bad heater hose and it's being pulled in the cab, if your ucky. Otherwise you will have to pull out the heater core and replace it. A new one runs about $75.00 and can be bought at any auto parts store if you wan to try this on your own post here and I will give you the proceedure.

Try warming it up without any accessories on until it gets good and hot, pop the hood and look all around!

Sounds like you have blocked fuel supply, check filters.
