Hi, I have an 07 Audi A6 2lt saloon. I have just changed the battery and the EPS light is illuminated all the time on the dash now. I've tried driving it and all appears well, I've switched it

Driving it, switching it off and locking it, turning the ignition on and pressing the unlock button on the key to reset it. All the lights are working fine, the car drives well. No problems apart from the light being on. The light is the YELLOW CAR WITH SKID MARKS ESP

You could try clearing the codes (parts stores can usually do this for you) and see if it comes back.

The letters EPS are lit up in red on the face of the tachometer in my 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring. Dealer says it costs $95 to have them run diagnostic. Is that reasonable?

The electronic power steering (EPS) Warning Light is located on the instrument panel. This light illuminates when the EPS is malfunctioning. When this light is lit, your steering may be a little heavier, and you should schedule an inspection as soon as possible. Tip The EPS Warning Light briefly illuminates when the car is first turned on. The light is only a problem if it stays lit for an extended period.

I've changed my engine mounts 3 times on my 2004 A4 cabreolet and they fail within miles(start to vibrate & then within a week, severe knocking) the 2nd time, also changed the ****** mount, 3r

Engine mounts do not go bad in five miles. Sounds like you're treating a symptom and not the cause of a more serious issue. Are you sure all cylinders are firing correctly? That the severe knocking is not coming from your engine internals? Have you checked the steel around the engine mounting points for cracks or other damage? And just in case, if the mounts you are using are poly, are you lubing them before installation?

Eps showing on dash

Hi there:

The only way to clear that light would be withg a Audi compatible scan tool that can communicate with the abs. If there is a problem with the abs system the light will return quickly. That light being on is telling you there is a problem in the abs system and it needs to be scanned to get the code/codes then it could be diagnosed.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

What does a warning symbol showing a circle w/an x in it mean on a 99 Audi A6

  • Hi, I can help.

  • On that year Audi (A6) the only two lights that would illuminate on your dash will either be for the brake light (top image in the diagram) or a headlight or tail light is out (bottom part of the diagram. So basically have a look at your lights, one of them is out.

  • No other lights on your dash have an "X" on them when illuminated.

Yellow engine warning light and car has rough idle

to get trouble codes you must hook up a test tool called a scanner, this interfaces with the computer in the car and pulls the codes from the computers memory.

Would like to change chrome winow trim to black on audi a6 saloon 07 modle

It ccan be done but you need a tool to remove the trim not all the trim is replaceable and you can buy from the dealer the parts you need to do it but you don't want to do it yourself unless you don't mind getting your paint scratched up.
